Con season is almost up for me, which is bittersweet. This year is flying by so fast!!!
I have one more artist alley to sell at in October but that'll be it for this year until January...hopefully.
Anyway, I've learned so much this year and have received a lot of valuable feedback and comments on my work!
Which I appreciate immensely!!
That being said, before I start planning on next year's artist alley adventure,
I'd like to hear a little more feedback on what you'd like to see from me next!
I really want to improve more as a Print Artist, possibly even creating some one-shot manga style comics.
But I have noted that when I'm at anime cons I really don't have any small items for sale. What low-priced items would you like to see me have for sale? Stickers
(size 4x6 - 8.5x11)??ACEO / Sketch Cards
If there is some other small items I haven't thought of, please feel free to throw me some ideas!
I don't know if I'll still be making more kimono style drawstring purses next year.
For one thing, quality fabric with the Japanese motifs I need are starting to become scarce.
Once I run out of the stock I have I probably won't be selling them at cons anymore.
Unless I get enough requests to have them for sale,
but honestly my artwork is what I really want to focus on.
Some of you have even asked me for advice as far as how to improve art style.
Gosh, I was so flattered hearing such comments while at my artist alley table.
So I might make a journal/blog entry about what tools/materials I use
to create both traditional and digital art. What inspires me, what motivates my work,
how I learned to draw, etc...Or maybe I'll make a youtube video. Would like to know Usagi's art making secrets??
I've even been encouraged to make an original comic!
I have a few ideas in the works but haven't really sat down to decide on just one.
That's something I would like to do. Would you really read a webcomic by me if I made one?
I'm curious to know since there are already so many different manga and comic artists out there.
I'd appreciate any feedback on that too. Please leave your feedback and comments below!!!
Thanks for reading!! Enjoy these last days of summer!!!
